This paper proposes a commentary on a passage from the Great Stela of Abydos of Ramesses IV (line 5-7) which proclaims Osiris’s supremacy. It focuses on some topoi of lunar theology (assimilation of Osiris to the Moon, Lunar phases, Moon’s brightness, rituals as slaughtering the enemies, time computing).
