The article offers a general presentation of wall inscriptions in H.B.2 (Building 2 within the monastic complex on Kom H) in Dongola, studied during the 2010 season of work. The inscriptions are characterized as for their date, language, form and function within the cult space. The information provided by the inscriptions is used to draw conclusions about religious and cultural life of the Christian Kingdom of Makuria.
