Since 1992 the Hathor Chapel project, aiming at the publication of the decoration and architecture of the Chapel of Hathor in the Temple of Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahari, has been a joint effort of the PCMA and the IFAO in Cairo. The main objective of the 2005 season was to correct the drawings of scenes in the inner part of the shrine. Many details were restudied to detect all the existing remains of outlines of figures and texts destroyed by Tuthmosis III.
